Beginning Woodworking

| BEGINNING WOODWORKING Grades: 9, 10, 11, 12; 1 Term, Ability = All, fee involved This course is for students of all ability levels. Students will learn to operate woodworking machines and use hand tools. Safety will be stressed. Some of the projects may consist of small tables, wall shelves, cedar chests and stools. Other related information such as planning, design, computing costs of materials, wood finishing and information on wood science will also be covered. Students will have the opportunity to use a laser engraver to enhance their projects. |
