Sociology is the study of human group behavior and deals with subjects that are relevant to students and their lives. Sociology deals with the various forms of human relationships and how they are reflected in everyday life and influenced by society and groups. Units covered in the class include: history of sociology, culture, conformity, social structures, socialization, social stratification, racism, gender, age, family, religion, education, and the media.
