STRUCTURED STRENGTH Grades: 9, 10, 11, 12; 1 Term, Elective

This is a class for the student who is interested in learning how to utilize the weight room safely and efficiently while gaining strength, flexibility, and confidence. Olympic lifts will be introduced as well as force producing lifts in the squat movement category as well as push and pull moves. The student can anticipate being in the weight room typically 3-4 days per week, with supplemental training other days. This class is open to 9-12th grade students. This course may be taken twice in a student's high school career.
