Cross Circuit

CROSS CIRCUIT  Grades: 9, 10, 11, 12; Semester, Elective

This class will incorporate heart rate monitors at least 3 times a week.  Students will be participating in daily workouts that combine strength movements as well as cardio fitness. Students will learn how to train in their target heart rate zone and compete against themselves to complete circuit workouts/workout of the day. This class will involve functional movements at a high intensity. Students will increase core strength and stamina. There is an option to buy a heart rate monitor belt for a minimal fee, or students may borrow from a classroom set.
