Shape-Up Fitness

SHAPE-UP FITNESS Grades: 9, 10, 11, 12; 1 Semester, Elective

Students will expand their knowledge of concepts in physical fitness, training principles, aerobic dance and nutrition.  Students will self-assess current levels of fitness, set individual goals, develop a fitness plan and evaluate progress. Students will receive information on proper nutrition, exercise physiology and motivation. Activities include: Yoga, Pilates, aerobics, tae-bo, power walking, muscle toning and dance concepts.
