9th  grade through Seniors: If you are interested in volunteering at the Foley Elementary or Intermediate School during your Study Hall one or more days a week sign up with Sabine in the Guidance Office. Just a reminder before you sign up, this is a weekly commitment out of your study hall time.  To qualify you must have good grades, no discipline reports or attendance issues.  See Ms. McIntire with questions.

Students interested in learning more about FFA membership should be aware of some upcoming events. We will have our first meeting of the year next Tuesday morning beginning at 7:50 AM.  Also the Explore FFA Conference will be held next Wednesday. See Mr Stemper for details or  to pick up your information sheets  and calendars.

BIGS - Please check the schedule posted outside room 326 for times and places to meet Beth today, tomorrow and Monday.  Please contact Beth if you are unable to meet.

Students interested in Art Club: we will have an informational meeting on Friday at 7:45am in the art room, attend to check it out, and if you like it you can sign up at the end of the meeting, in the Art room, 321.  If you have any questions see Mr. Carlson.

The Preliminary Scholastic Aptitude Test (PSAT) is an optional exam for 11th grade students who test exceptionally well.  Any junior who feels he/she can score in the top ½ of 1% on the PSAT should take the test.  Taking the PSAT and scoring in the top ½ of 1% is the ONLY way to qualify for a National Merit Scholarship.  If you are interested in taking the test, it will be given at Foley High School on Wednesday, October 11th from 8:00AM to 12:00 PM.  The registration deadline is Thursday, October 5th.  At the time of registration, each student will receive a Student Bulletin which will help them prepare for the test.

Side 1: Corn Dog, baked beans, fresh veggies, watermelon, applesauce, bread slice W/Grain and assorted milk.

Side 2: Wrap/Hoagie Bun, baked beans, fresh veggies, watermelon, applesauce, bread slice W/ Grain and assorted milk.

Side 3:Chef Salad Bar

Breakfast: WG Donuts, cheese stick, juice, apple slices and assorted milk.
