Congratulations to the Falcon Swim and Dive team on their win over Ogilve Mora last night!  The team worked extremely hard to overcome a tough team.  Jess Milstroh broke the pool record in the 100 fly with a time of 103.

Great job last night student section at the Volleyball game!! Your enthusiasm and spirit were impressive. Keep it up and recruit your friends.

The cross country teams raced in Little Falls yesterday.  The Varsity boys placed 19th, Varsity girls 20th and JV boys 16th. Congratulations!

Powder Puff T-Shirts  order forms for junior girls are available in the office by Sandy Stevens . Forms are due by this coming Monday (Sept. 18th). Please hand form back to either Amaya Helmin or Maggie Kipka. T-Shirts will cost $10.

The 9th grade football team defeated Zimmerman 48-28.

Juniors & Seniors: A representative from Hamline University will be here on Tuesday. If you are interested in meeting with the representative, please see Sabine in the Guidance Office for a pass by 3:30 pm Monday.

Ms. Lahr will not be available for students 4th hour today.

9th  grade through Seniors: If you are interested in volunteering at the Foley Elementary or Intermediate School during your Study Hall one or more days a week sign up with Sabine in the Guidance Office. Just a reminder before you sign up, this is a weekly commitment out of your study hall time.  To qualify you must have good grades, no discipline reports or attendance issues.  See Ms. McIntire with questions.

No passes will be given to students to ride Bus 13, 14, 22, and 26 because they are at full capacity.

Any new FFA members interested in attending the Explore FFA Conference next Wednesday should get the information sheets from Mr Stemper today.

The Preliminary Scholastic Aptitude Test (PSAT) is an optional exam for 11th grade students who test exceptionally well.  Any junior who feels he/she can score in the top ½ of 1% on the PSAT should take the test.  Taking the PSAT and scoring in the top ½ of 1% is the ONLY way to qualify for a National Merit Scholarship.  If you are interested in taking the test, it will be given at Foley High School on Wednesday, October 11th from 8:00AM to 12:00 PM.  The registration deadline is Thursday, October 5th.  At the time of registration, each student will receive a Student Bulletin which will help them prepare for the test.  See Sabine in the Guidance Office to sign up.
