WANNABE BIGS - If you are a 10th or 11th grade student who plans to become a BIG Brother or BIG Sister this year, please work to complete and submit your application this week.  Interviews will be conducted next week and those who have their paperwork completed will be matched as soon as possible.  *Applications can be picked up in room 326 from Mrs. Koester.

SENIORS - Order your senior shirt and pay your dues during lunch periods this week.  Please see your class officers Jacob Milejczak, Brooke McIver, Zoey Eastman, Liz Olson and Stephanie Ziwicki.  The cost of the shirt is $15 and dues are $20.

BLOOD DRIVE - The Red Cross will be here on Wednesday to conduct a blood drive.  Students who have signed up and are age 16 will need to bring their signed permission slip with them if they have not submitted it already to Mrs. Koester.  Please bring your photo identification and donor card if you have one to the North FHS gym when you come to donate.  Appointment cards will be attached to your lockers and available on Tuesday morning.  *If you need a permission slip, please see Mrs. Koester in room 326.

Attention seniors…October 1st is the start of College Knowledge Month.  A reminder to take advantage of the colleges that are not charging an application fee. A list of the colleges/universities and what dates they are free can be found at this link: http://www.ohe.state.mn.us/pdf/CKM_2017-18FreeAppOpportunities.pdf or a paper copy in the guidance office. Please let Sabine know if you need assistance in applying.  Bemidji State and St. Cloud Technical and Community College are a few that are free all month and St. Cloud State University and Winona State University are a few that are free just the week of October 23-27th.

Juniors: Just a reminder,  if you are a strong test taker and are interested in taking the Preliminary Scholastic Aptitude Test (PSAT) on Wednesday, October 11th,  please register by Wednesday, October 4th with Sabine in the Guidance Office.

A representative from St. Cloud State will be here today. If you are interested in meeting with this representative, please see Sabine in the guidance office for a pass.

A representative from the US Army will be here on Wednesday during the lunch hour. Please seek them out near the study hall desk.

Side 3:Chicken Dumpling Soup w/Bread slice
