Today is an Advisory Day. 9th grade in Lab. 10th grade in Auditorium.

Please make sure that belongings are put away in your locker.  Items should not be left on top of the lockers or on the floor next to your locker.

The FFA Corn Drive for Camp Courage committee is meeting on Thursday morning before school. Any members interested in helping with the project should plan to attend.

BIGS and WANNABE BIGS - Please check the schedule posted outside room 326 for times and places to meet Beth today and tomorrow.

BIG BROTHERS AND BIG SISTERS - If you have applied to become a BIG or are interested in becoming a BIG please mark your calendar and plan to attend the informational handbook training session scheduled for Thursday, November 16th at 7:15 a.m. in the auditorium.  Before you can become a BIG, you must attend this training.

9th GRADE BIGS - If you are a 9th grader and wish to become a big brother or big sister, now is the time to pick up an application from Mrs. Koester in room 326, complete it and attend the upcoming November 16th training session.  Take action today!

Seniors: If you are interested in the military and would like to take the ASVAB test, see Sabine in the Guidance Office.

Girls and Boys Basketball:  please turn in your 10,000 shot forms to Coach Larison and Coach Gross as soon as possible.

9th grade students interested in the Junior One Act Play please pick up registration forms in the office or Community Education office.  Practice starts Monday November 6.

Be sure to purchase your 2017-18 Yearbook! Yearbooks are $50, or $55 with your name on the cover. Prices will increase $5 on November 15th! Yearbooks can be purchased on the school e-Store, or cash or check can be brought to Ms. Winkelman in Computer Lab 301. Don't wait!

Senior Football Players: Football Scholarships are due no later than Thursday. Banquet this Sunday at 5:00 pm.

Volleyball meeting Thursday morning at 7:40 am in Mrs. Wheeler’s  FIS-506.  Please bring all uniforms\practice shirts.  The banquet is Monday the 6th at 6:00PM. T

Seniors: Your senior picture and senior quote for the yearbook are due no later than Monday, November 6th. Digital forms are preferred-send it to fhsyb@apps.isd51.org. Also, if your parents want to do a Personal Display of Affection this is also due and should be sent to . You can pay online or submit check.

Students are reminded that after being absent it is their responsibility to get their make-up work assignments from their teachers.

A reminder to young men who are about to turn 18, or who have turned 18, that you are required to register with the Selective Service.  If you have a valid Social Security number, you can register online at http://www.sss.gov, which links you to the agency’s computers then click on the “Register Now” icon.  Paper registration forms are available at any post office.
