Students, a reminder during this hunting season: our goal always is to provide a safe environment for learning.  Please make sure that you check your vehicle, backpacks and person to ensure that you do not have pocket knives, multi-tools, your gun from hunting or any other type of weapons anywhere at school, including your vehicle.  Thank You.

The Choir fundraiser is coming today and needs to be picked up after school. Ms. Walker and Mr. Chesher will be in the choir room until 4:00pm.

Volunteers during study hall: We are missing volunteer badges. When you volunteer during study hall, please return your badge so other study hall volunteers can use them. Please check your lockers and backpacks and return them. Please do not use the Big Brother Big Sister badges. Thank You.

Please make sure that belongings are put away in your locker.  Items should not be left on top of the lockers or on the floor next to your locker.

Seniors: High School Oratorical Scholarship Program - Winners receive $1,500; Runner-Up receives $1000; 3rd place $700: 4th place $500.0.0 and could advance to the National level. Students must have a prepared oration on some aspect of the Constitution of the United States with emphasis on the duties and obligations of a citizens to our government. See Sabine in the Guidance Office for more information or Mr. Bang.

Girls and Boys Basketball:  please turn in your 10,000 shot forms to Coach Larison and Coach Gross as soon as possible.

A representative from Concordia will be here today. If you are interested in meeting with this representative, please see Sabine in the Guidance Office for a pass.

9th grade students interested in the Junior One Act Play please pick up registration forms in the office or Community Education office.  Practice starts Monday November 6.

Be sure to purchase your 2017-18 Yearbook! Yearbooks are $50, or $55 with your name on the cover. Prices will increase $5 on November 15th! Yearbooks can be purchased on the school e-Store, or cash or check can be brought to Ms. Winkelman in Computer Lab 301. Don't wait!

Senior Football Players: Football Scholarships are due today!  Banquet this Sunday at 5:00 pm.

FFA members who ordering clothing can plan to pick it up after school today  in the front lobby of the high school.

Seniors: Your senior picture and senior quote for the yearbook are due no later than Monday, November 6th. Digital forms are preferred-send it to fhsyb@apps.isd51.org. Also, if your parents want to do a Personal Display of Affection this is also due and should be sent to . You can pay online or submit check.

Seniors: James W. Tracy Scholarship: Must be enrolled or plan to be enrolled in an accredited post-secondary school in the U.S. Must plan to pursue an academic award (certificate, diploma or degree) in agriculture or animal husbandry. The application is located on the Minnesota FFA Foundation's website under the Scholarship & Opportunities tab. A direct link to scholarship information and the application is http://www.mnffafoundation.org/James-W-Tracy-Scholarship. To date we have awarded 26 - $1,000 scholarships to Minnesota students as a result of James Tracy's generosity through this program. You primary contact person for this scholarship program is LuAnn Schloesser, Program Director, Minnesota FFA Foundation.

Side 1&2: Chicken Strips, brown rice, broccoli, fresh veggies, fresh fruit, fruit crisp, bread slice W/Grain and assorted milk.

Side 3: Deli Bar W/Pasta Salad

Breakfast: French Toast, applesauce, juice and assorted milk.
