Juniors & Seniors: A representative from University of Minnesota - Crookston will be here Tuesday. If you are interested in meeting with this representative, please see Sabine in the Guidance Office for a pass.

Girls Basketball Players: A final preseason girls basketball  meeting will be held Wednesday morning at 7:30 in the Elementary Gym.  It is important that you attend!  First day of practice is Monday, November 13th at 3:10 sharp.

Seniors: The Tom Bearson Spirit Award - this Scholarship was created to recognize the achievements, dedication, and positive spirit put forth by a Central Minnesota student athlete. The Tom Bearson Foundation will award a $1,500 scholarship and a beautiful crystal trophy to the student athlete (boy or girl) that best represents those attributes. This award will be presented at the Times Media Awards Banquet in June 2018. Please see Sabine in the Guidance Office for an criteria and application.  DEADLINE: Postmarked by May 15, 2018.

Students, a reminder during this hunting season: our goal always is to provide a safe environment for learning.  Please make sure that you check your vehicle, backpacks and person to ensure that you do not have pocket knives, multi-tools, your gun from hunting or any other type of weapons anywhere at school, including your vehicle.  Thank You.

NATIONAL HONOR SOCIETY members will meet at 7:15 a.m. tomorrow morning in the auditorium.  Please bring a pencil.

BIG BROTHERS AND BIG SISTERS - If you have applied to become a BIG or are interested in becoming a BIG please mark your calendar and plan to attend the informational handbook training session scheduled for Thursday, November 16th at 7:15 a.m. in the auditorium.  Before you can become a BIG, you must attend this training.

9th GRADE BIGS - If you are a 9th grader and wish to become a big brother or big sister, now is the time to pick up an application from Mrs. Koester in room 326, complete it and attend the upcoming November 16th training session.  Take action today!

7-12 grade wrestlers: Captain's practices will be held on November 7, 8, 13, 14, 16 from 3:00-4:30 in the FHS wrestling room. Order Forms for warm-ups are due November 15th.

Volunteers during study hall: We are missing volunteer badges. When you volunteer during study hall, please return your badge so other study hall volunteers can use them. Please check your lockers and backpacks and return them. Please do not use the Big Brother Big Sister badges. Thank You.

Be sure to purchase your 2017-18 Yearbook! Yearbooks are $50, or $55 with your name on the cover. Prices will increase $5 on November 15th! Yearbooks can be purchased on the school e-Store, or cash or check can be brought to Ms. Winkelman in Computer Lab 301. Don't wait!

Seniors: Your senior picture and senior quote for the yearbook are due today. Digital forms are preferred-send it to fhsyb@apps.isd51.org. Also, if your parents want to do a Personal Display of Affection this is also due and should be sent to . You can pay online or submit check.
