WANNABE BIGS - If you are a student in grades 9-10 who would like to become a BIG in the coming year, please plan to attend the informational training session this Thursday, November 16th at 7:15 am in the auditorium. You must attend a training session before you can become a BIG. If you are interested in the program, pick up an application from Mrs. Koester in room 326 and return your completed application there as well.
NATIONAL HONOR SOCIETY MEMBERS - Please fill in the time slots to conduct the vision and hearing screening project. Those of you planning to do the hearing screening should plan to attend a training session on Friday morning at 7:30 am. in room 326.
The November FFA meeting will be held tuesday morning beginning at 7:50. We will have our full group picture to start the meeting. Also fruit sales envelopes will need to be turned in as well.
Meet the Falcons Night will be November 20th at 5PM: This event is for 9th – 12th grade Boys and Girls Basketball teams. Parents are encouraged to attend. There will be scrimmages and drill to showcase the teams talents. Afterwards there will be cookies and juice, and an opportunity to sign up for various activities.
Juniors & Seniors: If you are interested in taking the Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB) test on Tuesday, November 21st, please return your permission form by Tuesday, November 14th to Sabine in the Guidance Office.
Wrestlers: Just a reminder if you need a warm-up this year, order forms are due Wednesday, November 15th to Sabine in the Guidance Office or Jody Henry.
There will be a junior class meeting Tuesday morning beginning at 7:30AM in Ms. Keating's room.
2018 National High School Essay Contest - The winner receives $2,500, a trip to Washington, D.C., to meet a member of the State Department leadership and a full scholarship for a semester at sea education voyage. The runner-up receives $1,250 and a full scholarship to attend the International Diplomacy Program of the National Student Leadership Conference. Detail at www.afsa.org/essaycontest. Seniors: If you are pursuing the field of horticulture and/or landscape construction/design, please see Mr. Stemper or Sabine in the guidance office for a $500 scholarship opportunity. Deadline: Tuesday, November 14, 2017.

Students, a reminder during this hunting season: our goal always is to provide a safe environment for learning. Please make sure that you check your vehicle, backpacks and person to ensure that you do not have pocket knives, multi-tools, your gun from hunting or any other type of weapons anywhere at school, including your vehicle.
