BIGS - Please plan to pick up your LITTLE on Friday during your normal meeting time and report to the main high school entry to do the holiday craft project.
WANNABE BIGS - Students in grades 9 and 10 who would like to serve as BIGS in the coming year are encouraged to pick up an application in room 326 from Mrs. Koester and get it completed and returned as soon as possible. Beth will be conducting interviews next week so take action now.
SENIORS - Please pick up your Senior shirts in room 326.
NATIONAL HONOR SOCIETY MEMBERS - Please plan to help set up for the Breakfast with Santa immediately after school on Friday. You'll need to be at school by 7:30 a.m. on Saturday morning to be ready and in place for your guests.

Juniors & Seniors: East Central Energy (ECE) will send two students to Washington, D.C. for the Electric Cooperative Youth Tour, June 9-14, 2018. This all-expense-paid trip helps students understand our government and its role in the history of rural electric cooperatives. Students visit the Capitol and meet their senators and representatives, tour our nation’s monuments and museums and meet other teens from around the country. You are able to complete the entire process electronically and return the materials by email. Please call Desiree at 1-800-254-7944, ext. 8031, or by email at email@example.com for an application or questions. Application packets must be completed and returned to ECE by February 12. Finalists will be interviewed by a panel of judges, and the top two students will each receive the trip to Washington, D.C.
Any junior interested in applying for the ExCEL award, please see Mr. Dahmen or Sandy in the Main Office. Applications are due by Dec. 7th. ExCEL - Excellence in Community, Education and Leadership - is a unique recognition program designed exclusively for Minnesota high school juniors who are active in high school activities, who show leadership qualities, and who volunteer in their communities. Nominees must:
a. be a junior in high school
b. make satisfactory progress toward graduation
c. participate in a MSHSL fine arts and/or athletic activity
d. hold a leadership position(s) in their school
e. work voluntarily in their community
