Minnesota State (formerly MnSCU) has provided St. Cloud Technical & Community College with 14 Workforce Development Scholarships, worth $2,500 each, in select program areas. The program areas include CNC and Advanced Machining, Computer Aided Design, Computer Programming, Health Information Technology, Network Administration, Paramedicine, and Welding. The scholarships are for students who are new to SCTCC, who will graduate or have graduated from HS (or earned a GED) by this spring, and who are interested in pursuing a degree/credential in the targeted program areas beginning fall 2018. The Scholarship Committee of the Vietnam Veterans of America, Central Minnesota Chapter 290 is offering 2 $750 scholarships for children or grandchildren who are descendents and/or relatives of Veterans of the Vietnam War. Please see Sabine in the Guidance Office or go to www.vvachapter290.org for more information.
SENIORS: Keeping working on your local scholarship packet. This long weekend is a great time to get it done. Feel free to submit your application to Sabine in the Guidance Office anytime prior to Wednesday, February 28th.
During the day, the locker rooms should be used only by students in Phy Ed class. Please do not plan to be able to access your gym or athletic locker during the day unless doing so during your scheduled Phy Ed class as they will be locked.
Just a reminder that NEXT week 2/21, CCG is going to Sauk Rapids. This is the first day we come back from the long weekend. You do not have school Monday or Tuesday. So just keep that on your radar and be ready to leave right after school.

Foley Trap Team - The 2018 Spring Foley Trap Team NEW MEMBER parent information/sign up meeting is on Monday, February 19 at 8pm in the FIS Media Center.
Students in grades 9-12 are invited to attend Construct Tomorrow at the Hinckley Events Center on February 22nd. This is an event where you will learn about the construction industry and a variety of careers. You will have the opportunity to participate and learn through hands-on activities and talk directly with employers and workers in different career fields. Stop by the Guidance Office to pick up a permission slip. The cost of the event is $3.00.
In honor of Valentines week, we will have Strawberry malts for sale during lunch.
