Emily Stemper, a junior at Foley High School, has been selected as one of two acts from Minnesota to compete in the National FFA Talent competition in Indianapolis IN.  Stemper who competed in the Minnesota State FFA Talent competition in April, auditioned this summer for a chance to perform at the 89th Annual Convention and E?xpo which will be held Oct 18 - 22 in Indianapolis.  Stemper will be singing a song list of modern pop songs, country, and old time ballads which she will play on her guitar and ukulele. During the National Convention, she will be competing in 3 rounds of competition and also playing at various venues around the convention center. Emily says “ she is most excited to see all of the other talent acts from around the country and it would be awesome to be able to perform on the main stage in Lucas Oil Stadium for the finals round”. Convention officials are expecting over 65,000 FFA members attending this year's Convention and Career Expo which moves back to Indianapolis after being in Louisville for the past 5 years.
