Seniors: Today October 1st is the start of College Knowledge Month.  A reminder to take advantage of the colleges that are not charging an application fee. A list of the colleges/universities and what dates you can apply can be found at ?Minnesota Goes to College - Free Application Opportunities?. ? ?Please let Sabine in the Guidance Office know if you need assistance in applying.  

 

College Wear Days! In honor of College Knowledge Month we will have 3 College Wear Days.  October 7th, 21st, 28th. Wear your Favorite College Gear and promote College Knowledge Month. 

 

Juniors & Seniors: A representative from St. Cloud State University will be here today Thursday, October 1 3rd hour. This is a great opportunity to ask your questions in a small setting or just see what a school has to offer.  If you are interested in meeting with this representative,  please see Sabine in the Guidance Office.

SENIORS: Your Room Location for ACT Testing will be posted this morning outside the Guidance Office and near the Locker Bay.  Please make sure you are prepared to bring a photo id for ACT Testing on Tuesday October 6th as well as your own #2 lead pencil and ACT approved calculator.   Please be checking your email for a quick survey regarding your lunch choice for next Tuesday after you've taken the ACT.  

 

Seniors who are planning on taking the ACT Test on Tuesday October 6,  if you have not completed the non test portion, please see Sabine in the Guidance Office today.  If you are planning on opting out of taking the free ACT test,  please let Sabine know.  If you are a PSEO Student or Distant Learning Student, please contact Sabine at slefebvre@apps.isd51.org to set up a time.  Thank You. 

 

Starting Monday, October 5th we will not be doing a third line until further notice. We will have 2 options on the other lines as well as we will make up  a couple salads and sandwiches. Please ask for them if you would like those options. 

 

Staff, There will be a sign up list in the staff lounges if you would want a salad.

Please sign up before 9 AM each morning and this will be made for you.

 

Juniors & Seniors: Colorado Christian University would like to meet with students virtually. If you are interested in meeting with a representative, please see Sabine in the Guidance Office. 

 

Junior & Seniors: A representative from Bemidji State University would like to meet with you. If you are interested in this school, please see Sabine in the Guidance Office for an appointment. 

 

The FFA Fruit Sales committee will meet next tuesday morning at 7:30 for our planning meeting with our distributor reps. This will be done in person and by google meet using the link in the Foley FFA google classroom. Anyone is welcome to join either in person or by computer. We will go until 8:00 AM. 

 

A reminder to FFA members and families that the FFA clothing order is available on the Henrys Embroidery web site.

Representatives from the United States Military Academy at West Point, the United States Air Force Academy, the United States Naval Academy and the United States Merchant Marine Academy will be available to answer any questions.  

 

Juniors & Seniors: The Guidance Office has test prep materials for the ACT. If you didn’t get practice tests, stop in to pick up.
