Attention Freshman: please check your email and  make sure to vote for a homecoming royalty 9th grade only.


Attention Seniors: Please check your email and please vote for the Senior Homecoming court. 


If you are interested in helping with a service project to make lap blankets for our local nursing home please see your study hall teachers. Fabric and instruction are available from study hall teachers.  If you have any additional questions please feel free to see Mrs. Keating in room 310.


Do you like math? Do you like treats? Then Math League is for you contact Mr. Magnuson to get signed up today! There will be a Math League meeting/practice Monday after school in Mr. Magnuson's room. As always, treats will be provided! See you there!


Any FFA members that have not picked up their fruit sales materials should stop in to Mr Stempers room today to get your packet. 


The fall round of FFA SAE grants for members is now open for students to apply. Applications are available in Mr Stempers room or find it in the FFA google classroom. Deadline will be Nov 15th. 


Any FFA members interested in taking part in next week's National FFA Convention virtual experience should get their name on the list by Friday if they wish to get your free T shirt. More information will be announced next week. 


School pictures and I.D.s will be distributed Thursday during your lunch period.  If you had your picture taken a school I.D. will be in the school picture envelope along with additional pictures ordered OR a sample of your picture with directions should your parent now decide to place an order for a packet. Picture retakes will be held on November 2nd and 3rd. If you did not have your picture taken when the photographer was previously here please plan to have it done on these dates to ensure you receive a Foley High School  I.D. See Kim in the office if you have any questions.

If you meet the qualifications, you should apply - be enrolled full time as a high school senior in the United States; be progressing normally toward graduation in spring/summer of 2021 with plans to enter a college in the United States no later than the fall following graduation, Exhibit a strong commitment to pursue and complete a bachelor’s degree at an accredited non-profit public or private institution in the United States (students may start their studies at a two-year institution and then transfer to a four-year institution), Demonstrate critical financial need ($55,000 or lower adjusted gross family income is required), Be involved in co-curricular and community service activities, Display integrity and perseverance in overcoming adversity, Maintain a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 2.0.


JUNIORS & SENIORS ONLY:  A limited # tickets are available for the football  game on Friday vs Watertown/Mayer.  Tickets are $4 each. Please stop in the office and see Sandy if you are interested.


Attention all freshmen or 10th-12th graders that are not members of Student Council.  Are you looking for a way to improve the student experience here at Foley High School?  Or maybe you want to find ways to become more involved and have additional opportunity to volunteer and help out the school and community?  Then joining the Student Council is for you!  Applications are currently available outside of Mr. Inglis's Classroom (314) on the Student Council Bulletin Board.  If you are a distance learner?  No problem!  Check out the included link for access to the application online. Drivers Education courses are coming up through Community Education. If you are interested in taking a class via ZOOM please pick up registration information in the Media Center. The next class starts October 26th 


Seniors: October is College Knowledge Month!  A reminder to take advantage of the colleges that are not charging an application fee. A list of the colleges/universities and what dates you can apply can be found at ?Minnesota Goes to College - Free Application Opportunities?. ? ?Please let Sabine in the Guidance Office know if you need assistance in applying.  Reminder, once you apply you must request your official transcript from parchment This is the time to apply to college you are thinking of attending.
