Students - please make sure to take your locker belongings home with you so that you have all supplies needed for this distance learning period.  Additionally, please make sure to empty any food and take any clothing in your locker or phy ed locker home to be washed.



Students will go to the Media Center during Study Hall on Wednesday/Thursday to pick up materials for 2nd quarter.  Please pay attention to instructions from your study hall teacher and the media center staff.  Students without a study hall will be given information regarding when to go to the media center.


?Knowledge Bowl ? may be happening this year??!  If approved, it looks to be a virtual activity this year?. ? Any student interested in competing in Knowledge Bowl should send an email of interest to Mr. Hommerding at: .


Congratulations to Zackery Jennissen for being selected as the newest Student Council Officer.  Zack will be serving as the Delegate at Large for the 2020-2021 School year.  


There are many things to be ?worked out ?yet, but Mr. H will keep you updated on practice and meet dates as they are determined. 



Seniors:.this is a quick reminder that many colleges have a November 1 Early Decision/Early Action deadline.   If you need any help applying please come to the guidance office ASAP. 


The 2020 Homecoming T-Shirts are available for order at  The order will be available until Thursday 10/29 at 9:00 am.  


Student tickets for Friday's football game vs Annandale are available in the HS office - Available to Juniors and Seniors Monday and Tuesday and available to Freshman and Sophomores Wednesday and Thursday.  Adult tickets can be purchased online through the School Estore. Ticket sales will close at noon on Friday.  


Any junior class member who would be interested in being part of an upcoming service project and planning prom should plan to attend a meeting Thursday morning in the auditorium at 7:30 AM.  If you are unable to attend but would like to be included in future meetings please let Mrs. Keating know.


Swim and Dive team pics can be picked up with Sandy in the office today and tomorrow.  Please return all equipment to Coach Piepgras today or tomorrow after school.  All lockers need to be cleaned out by tomorrow.


Mr. Smith's 5th period study hall (which is usually held in the Media Center) is asked to report to his classroom in Foley Intermediate School (room 710) for the remainder of this week.


Wind Ensemble & Intro to Guitar Students for 2nd Quarter: Please see Mrs. Hesch this week for method books and instruments. 


Seniors: Just a reminder that your senior picture and senior quote for the yearbook are due November 9, 2020. The senior picture you use for the yearbook will also be used for the senior slideshow. You also need a baby/toddler picture for the senior slideshow.  Digital forms are preferred—send your senior/baby picture to . See Sabine in the Guidance Office if you have questions. 


Seniors: LAST CHANCE THIS WEEK!!!! October is College Knowledge Month!  A reminder to take advantage of the colleges that are not charging an application fee. A list of the colleges/universities and what dates you can apply can be found at ?Minnesota Goes to College - Free Application Opportunities?. ? ?Please let Sabine in the Guidance Office know if you need assistance in applying.  Reminder, once you apply you must request your official transcript from parchment This is the time to apply to college you are thinking of attending. 


Lunch Menu: This week for Halloween the nutrition department will be featuring a pumpkin pie malt!!!

Side 1&2: Homemade dinner rolls,  beef bean burrito or nachos grande, fresh fruit fresh veggies and an ice cream cup.

Breakfast: Build a Breakfast Sand., fresh fruit, juice and assorted milk.
