Grades 9-12:  We have an exciting opportunity for you to connect with colleges in the “Northland”!  Admissions representatives from The College of Saint Scholastica, Lake Superior College, Northland College, University of Minnesota-Duluth, Fond du Lac Tribal and Community College and UW-Superior will be hosting a collaborative Zoom event for students to learn more about the northland area colleges and opportunities for them to continue their education.  When: Wednesday, February 24th at 2PM (Main Presentation); 2:30 PM (College Breakout Sessions) and Thursday, February 25th at 6PM (Main Presentation); 6:30 PM (College Breakout Sessions) The first 30 minutes of the event presentation will consist of an overview of the northland area and opportunities for college students. Students will be able to hear briefly from each college campus on admissions requirements, student life, housing, and the application process. We will also have breakout sessions for students to visit individually/Q & A with any colleges of their choosing. Where: Zoom – Registration for students is required as we will have a capacity for this event. Registration Links: Wednesday, February 24 @ 2PM

Seniors: The Local Scholarship Packet will be available on Monday, February 8th 8:00 am. Check out the new Class of 2021 Google Classroom for this scholarship packet and other important senior information. 


Picture retakes will be held on Tuesday, February 9th (white group) and Wednesday, February 10th (blue group).  Watch the announcements for specific times for each grade level 6th - 11th.  If you have your picture packet from our initial pictures please bring that with you on retake day. Picture retake forms can also be found in the Media Center.


ECE is offering an exciting opportunity to sophomores, juniors, and seniors. We’re calling it COOPx and plan to offer a fantastic line-up of activities:

  • Three students will spend time at ECE-Braham HQ June 23-25, 2021.

  • Students get to hang out with our CEO, engage with department employees, attend a board meeting, tour the co-op, and get outside to visit field personnel.

  • Lunch and snacks will be provided each day.

  • Applications and essays are due April 5.

  • Finalists will be interviewed on April 29.

Seniors: A representative from National Recognition Products will be here next Tuesday and Wednesday, February 9th and 10th during the lunch hours so that you can order/pick up your graduation announcements or other fun senior products that were emailed to you on January 12th. 


CCG (Communicating Common Ground): If you are signed up to participate, please check your emails and the CCG Google Classroom for information and surveys regarding our first upcoming session on Wed Feb 10. If you are not signed up, but are still interested in participating, please contact Ms. Pelowski for more information. 


Juniors: We have some new ACT test prep booklets (paper copies) in the Guidance Office to help you prepare for the ACT test on March 2nd. Stop in and grab a copy in the Guidance Office if you are interested.
