Attention all students. This Sunday, September 26th is the Homecoming Coronation Ceremony. The production will start at 7:00 in the High School Gym and doors will open at 6:30. Students are welcomed to attend. Come see who will be this year's Homecoming King and Queen. If you have any questions, please talk to Mr. Inglis.
Next Monday kicks off our "Flight Cancelled" Homecoming week. You can show your school spirit by dressing up for 'Merica Monday. Do you want to wear a hat? Purchase a Homecoming Button for $2 and you can wear your hat for the day. Buttons will be on sale in the Locker Bay before school. Buttons must be visible on your person. Teachers and Administrators still have the ability to ask you to remove your hat if it becomes a distraction. Do your best to be cooperative and let's have a great Homecoming Week.
A reminder to students who are interested in attending the Ag Careers Field Day that you should be signed up by the end of the day today. Find the sign up sheets in Ms Halversons or Mr Stempers rooms.
FFA members are reminded that the clothing orders through the Henrys Embroidery site will close on Friday night. Be sure to log on to finalize your clothing orderSeniors: An error in the announcements these past few days. St. Cloud Technical & Community College application fee is not free all year. Just the month of October. Some programs do fill up fast so they do encourage you to apply in September.
The members of the LIFT program are putting together a care cabinet. The care cabinet will be stocked with personal care products (ex. deodorant, toothbrushes, body wash, lotion, etc.) This is available to use for all students at any time, no questions asked. It will be located in Ms. Winkelman's room (301). It will be available starting on Monday September 27th.
All DC/NYC Travelers: Meet in Ms. Pelowski's room today during FLEX time to touch base about the trip. All Kwik Trip Presale sheets and money will be turned in at that time as well.
Any students who are interested in being put on the waitlist for the DC/NYC trip should send an email to Ms. Pelowski.
Students: this week check out the "Get to Know Me" posters of the Homecoming King and Queen Candidates. The posters will be hung near the lunch line. The Homecoming Court is also wearing sashes this week. Take this week to get to know the candidates before you cast your vote on Friday.
Juniors: The Preliminary Scholastic Aptitude Test (PSAT) is an optional exam for 11th grade students who test exceptionally well. Any junior who has tested well on MCA’s should be looking at taking the PSAT test. If you are wondering if you should take the test, see one of the counselors. The test will be given at Foley High School on Wednesday, October 13th from 8:00AM to 12:00 PM. The registration deadline is this Wednesday, October 6th. An $18.00 fee will be required when you register in the Guidance Office. We have a few fee waivers if you are concerned about the cost. On October 6th each student will receive a student guide, which will help them prepare for the test. Please see Sabine in the Guidance Office to register.
The Homecoming Dance will be Friday, October 1st after the Homecoming Football game and go until 11:30. If you wish to bring an outside date, please pick up a form from Corri Gross in the High School Office. The outside date form is due back Monday 9/27/21.
