All 11th Graders will be meeting in the Auditorium on Wednesday for important College and Career Readiness. 

Juniors  & Seniors: We have lots of 2&4 year colleges and military branches coming during Flex Time.  Please check Flex Time and sign up. It’s a great way to make a connection with a representative.

LIfeguarding class will be in the pool today.

Tuesday, September 28 -  Tacky Tourist Dress Up Day  

Students interested in applying to University of Minnesota Duluth:The PRIORITY DEADLINE for admission and scholarship consideration is DECEMBER 15. We recommend that all students apply for admission early for best program availability, as well as housing and registration priority.  UMD is again offering a first year $500 early applicant scholarship for high school students who apply for admission by October 15. We have also made permanent our decision to be a “test optional” school, and there is additional information on being “test optional” at  Students should be directed to for more information on the application process and to begin their application for admission to UMD.

There will be a rehearsal for the MARCHING BAND on Friday October 1 from 9:00-10:50am and a performance during halftime of the homecoming football game.  Meet in the high school band room at 9:00am. 

Juniors: The Preliminary Scholastic Aptitude Test (PSAT) is an optional exam for 11th grade students who test exceptionally well.  Any junior who has tested well on MCA’s should be looking at taking the PSAT test. If you are wondering if you should take the test, see one of the counselors.  The test will be given at Foley High School on Wednesday, October 13th from 8:00AM to 12:00 PM.  The registration deadline is this Wednesday, October 6th.  An $18.00 fee will be required when you register in the Guidance Office. We have a few fee waivers if you are concerned about the cost. On October 6th each student will receive a student guide, which will help them prepare for the test. Please see Sabine in the Guidance Office to register.

The Homecoming Dance will be Friday, October 1st after the Homecoming Football game and go until 11:30.  If you wish to bring an outside date, please pick up a form from Corri Gross in the High School Office.  The outside date form is due back today.
