                        FHS Daily Announcements - Thursday,  September 30, 2021

Tonight for the volleyball game, we are doing fan appreciation night. We will have lots of extra prizes for the crowd throughout the game to show our appreciation. Come and Cheer on the Volleyball Team! Varsity Game is 7:15 pm

Congratulations to Gracie Blank, Natalie Hanks, Annabelle Anderson, and Haley Studenski as they were elected as Junior Class Officers for the 2021/2022 school year.   

Any student who is interested in being a part of creating the 2021/2022 yearbook please see Mrs. Keating in room 310 to chat.

The Deficiency List has been run.  If you currently have a failing grade in any of your classes, you will be unable to participate in extracurricular competitions or activities until your grade has been brought up to passing. If this affects you, please pick up an Academic Eligibility Form in the Activities Office and have it signed by the teacher of the class that is affected.  Return the signed form to Corri or Mr. Dahmen to be cleared immediately for participation.

Any students interested in becoming a beekeeper and would like to start your own business, the Tri County Beekeepers have a grant and scholarship program for student to get started. See Mr Stemper if you are interested in applying. It is due Oct 15th.

Juniors & Seniors: A representative from St. Cloud Technical & Community College will be here on Monday, October 4th. If you are interested in meeting with this representative, please sign up on FlexTime Manager or see Sabine in the Guidance Office. This is a great opportunity to make a connection if you are thinking of this school.

Juniors & Seniors: A representative from Minnesota State University - Moorhead and a representative from University of Wisconsin River Falls (2 separate meetings) will be here on Tuesday, October 5th. If you are interested in meeting with this representative, please sign up on FlexTime Manager or see Sabine in the Guidance Office. This is a great opportunity to make a connection if you are thinking of this school.

All Students: If you need help logging into your Flex account please ask one of your teachers for help or stop in the guidance office.  It is important that you are checking your Flex daily. 

Friday is Falcon Jersey Dress Up Day!

Mr. Inglis and Mrs. Score are having an airplane making competition this today during flex time. Don't forget to sign up. Winner gets a prize! 

Attention all students grades 9-12.  This Friday will be the Homecoming Dance.  The Dance will start following the Homecoming Game vs. Little Falls and will go until 11:30.  The cost of the dance is $5.  If you are WEARING your Homecoming T-shirt the dance is FREE!  The dance will be held outdoors between the FHS and FIS in the courtyard (weather permitting).  Please enter through the FHS main entrance.  Noone will be allowed to enter from the outside. 

All Foley Students are invited to celebrate homecoming at our tailgating festivities-Time 4:30-6:30 Friday. Join in the fun- Including Inflatable Obstacle Course, Bags, Spike Ball, 9 Square. Music & Hot dogs provided. Come join in the Fun! Homecoming @ 7pm against Little Falls! Go Falcons!

Art Club starting next Monday Oct 4th from 3-5pm. Art room 321

There will be a rehearsal for the MARCHING BAND on Friday October 1 from 9:00-10:50am and a performance during halftime of the homecoming football game.  Meet in the high school band room at 9:00am. 

Would the following students see Sabine in the Guidance Office to pick up mail, Brittany Melgren, Bailey Leabch, Zoe Larson, Makayla Dietl, Ava Gadacz, Hailey Weis and Kristen O’Brien.

Afterschool snack shoppe is for students that are staying after school for some type of activity. You should not be purchasing items and taking these items to the bus for your ride home. We also do not want you to miss the bus where you are to get on because of this. Also a reminder you do have to have money in your account to purchase items.

Lunch Menu: 

Line 1&3: Lasagna Rollup, garden salad, fresh veggies, pears, fresh fruit, bread sticks, and assorted milk. 

Line 2: Ital Dunkers w/Sauce, garden salad, fresh veggies, pears, fresh fruit, bread sticks, and assorted milk. 

Breakfast Friday: Frudel, apple slices, fruit juice and assorted milk.
