| ADVANCED AUTO REPAIR Grades: 10, 11, 12; 1 Term, Prerequisite: Intro to Auto Repair This course is designed for those students interested in entering the automotive profession or gaining a solid foundation of the automotive field. Students will learn how to diagnose and repair electrical/electronic systems, brake systems, and engine performance systems. The three C's of auto repairs will be emphasized: Concern, Cause, and Correction of system problems. Units of study include: batteries/starting/charging systems, basic electricity/electronics, and brake systems. |
