| ROBOTICS & ENGINEERING Grades: 9, 10, 11, 12; 1 Term Robotics engineers design, maintain, and program robots, as well as research and discover new uses for them. This is a rapidly developing field as robotics and automation is becoming more common in several industries every day. Manufacturing is the primary user of robotics and automation in the area, but we are seeing it move into other areas including agriculture, mining, and nuclear power-plant maintenance. We will be exploring several different areas of robotics including building and programming VEX robots, as well as working with computer controlled manufacturing including 3D printing. |
