SAPQR Grades: 10, 11, 12; 1 Semester, Elective

This class is for the highly motivated student. Speed, agility, power, and quickness training will be emphasized with resistance (weight) training incorporated to assist the student with optimum physical development. This class will involve use of the field house where elastic accelerators, vipers, side-winders, speed ladders, stability balls, medicine balls, and plyo boxes will be incorporated into a variety of training regimens. Workouts in the weight room will be designed to enhance the body’s capability of being powerful and explosive; Olympic lifts will be strongly emphasized.
