| SPANISH 1 Grades: 9, 10, 11, 12; 2 Terms, Ability = All Students Students will learn basic skills in order to read, write, speak, and listen to Spanish at the beginning level including how to conjugate verbs in the present tense only. Students will be able to express basic ideas and needs in Spanish at a conversational level and be able to talk about themselves as well as ask various types of questions to others. In addition to written and verbal communication, students will be exposed to foreign cultures through music, books, media, and guest speakers when available.
