.**The 2019–20 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA®) season will begin on Oct. 1, 2019. You will be able to fill out the FAFSA for the 2020–21 school year. In addition, applicants will no longer need to estimate income and tax information and will be able to retrieve their data directly from the IRS, right from the first day the FAFSA is available using 2018 tax information. Students also will have information about their Expected Family Contributions earlier, helping you as you go through the college application and selection process. There are a few federal student aid programs that have limited funds, so be sure to apply as soon as you can once the FAFSA is available for the year you will be attending school. Students can code up to 10 colleges they want to receive their FAFSA information and an option to add/replace colleges. Go to https://fafsa.ed.gov/ for more information and to apply.
