• Absence Notification If your child is absent from the Intermediate School, we ask that you call by 10:00am to notify us of their absence. In the interest of your child’s safety, the administrative secretary will attempt to make contact by phone if we do not hear from you. If a phone contact is not made regarding your child’s absence, please send a note with your child upon their return to school. We prefer a phone contact over the note. Parents do not have to make a phone contact and send a note.
• Arrival/Departure from School Students report to the cafeteria in the morning by entering Door 21 off of the bus or by using the sidewalk leading to Door 1 if being dropped off by the signs in front of the district office. Please do not drop students off in the bus parking area in front of the Intermediate School. Students should not arrive to school before 7:45am unless they are attending a supervised activity. Students may not stay after school unless they are in a supervised activity. Students waiting for a ride should wait in front of the office.
• Appointments and Visitors During the day students that arrive and leave for appointments must check in and out through the office. A note or phone call should be given to the school prior to the student leaving for the appointment. Parents and guests who are visiting during the school day must check in at the office and wear a visitor badge.
