“Friendly reminder to our student drivers from SRO Vickstrom: MN Statute states ALL drivers have the duty to drive with due care. What this means is every driver is responsible to be aware of potential hazards when operating a motor vehicle, example: weather. It is every driver's responsibility to not operate their vehicle at a speed greater than reasonable under current road conditions. Please slow down when we are experiencing inclement weather and/or poor driving conditions. Give yourself extra time so you arrive at your destination safely! Failure to do so may result in a citation or injury to oneself or another! Any questions or concerns, feel free to see me anytime. Thank you and drive safe!”
