FHS Daily Announcements - Monday, November 27th

-All 10th graders going to the Guthrie TOMORROW: Bring a coat, a bag lunch, and a little bit of cash (we might have time to stop at McDonald's on the way home). Meet Ms. Gross in the lobby of FHS right at the beginning of the school day! We'll be back around 2:30. Grab homework from teachers today! 

-Big Brothers Big Sisters stop in the guidance office to pick up your name badge. These must be worn when meeting with your little. 

-Attention FFA members: Sunday, December 3rd and Monday, December 4th there will be a SAE proficiency night and AET account set up from 3-7pm in Keiser room. 

-The last day for the After School Program for Trimester 1 is tomorrow. We will not meet on Thursday. 

-Juniors/Seniors: Alexandria Technical and Community College will be in the guidance office during Flex on Wednesday, November 29th. Stop by to see what they have to offer. 

-“Friendly reminder to our student drivers from SRO Vickstrom: MN Statute states it is unlawful for any vehicle to pass a school bus when it has flashing red lights and/or displaying an extended stop arm (it looks like a stop sign and says STOP). When approaching a stopped bus with flashing lights and stop arm extended, do not attempt to pass and stop at least 20 feet away from the bus. Violation of this law is a misdemeanor. Passing the bus on the right hand side of the bus (door side) or when children are outside of the bus is a gross misdemeanor. Please help ensure the safety of our fellow students.
