FHS Daily Announcements - Wednesday, December 6th 

-Scholarships offered by Community Giving are open and ready for you to apply! Multiple Scholarship opportunities are available, be sure to verify the eligibility requirements when applying!  Deadline is March 1st

Scholarships that state: Deadline: See school guidance office

                                  Online Application: Other (High school, college, etc.)

These Scholarships will be included in FHS Local Scholarship Packet that will open for student in February. More information to come on this packet at a later date. 

-Students- please look in  your backpacks and lockers and return any borrowed chargers or loaner Chromebooks to the media center.

-Attention All Students: Just a reminder that a final Trimester grade of an F in any of your classes is considered an Activities Academic Violation. This includes all Sports, Fine Arts, FFA or any other School Activity. If you fail a class, you will need to sit out one contest or event. Please utilize the rest of this week to improve your grades.  Thank you!

- According to the Foley Public School Handbook Schedule changes that occur after the start of the trimester should be completed by the conclusion of the 3rd day of the trimester. See a guidance counselor if you have questions. 

-Teacher Assistant / Course Enrichment students- Completed contracts must be turned into the guidance office by end of day Friday, December 8th. See the guidance office with questions. 

-Knowledge Bowl  practice is Wednesday from 3 to 5 pm in Mr. Hommerding's room.  Practices are free, so if you'd like to see what KB is all about, join us for a little food and lots of fun.

-The After School Credit Recovery Program will take place on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:00-5:00pm in Room 335 (Foods Lab) starting December 12th. This program is for students who have failed a course or standard required for graduation. If you have failed a course and are interested in completing it in the After School Program, see Kristi in the Guidance Office.  There are a limited number of spots available and forms are due by December 19th so it is important to get the paperwork back ASAP. 

-The After School Homework Support Program will take place on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:00-5:00pm in Room 335 (Foods Lab) starting December 12th. This program is for students who need extra help and support on current homework. Students can pick up a parent permission form from Kristi in the Guidance Office and can enroll at any time.

Lunch Line 1 & 2: Spaghetti & Meat Sauce or Chicken Alfredo, Steamed Green Beans, Pineapple, Apple Slices, New York Breadstick

Lunch Line 3: Cheesy Pullaparts w/ Dipping sauce, Green Beans, Bacon Ranch Lettuce Salad, Veggies, Apple Slices, Pineapple

BREAKFAST for Thursday: Breakfast Muffin or Bagel Sandwich, Ham or Sausage Patty. Fresh Fruit, Fruit Juice
