FHS Daily Announcements - Thursday, December 7th 

-The Deficiency List for Tri 1 will be run on Friday, December 8th.  Any student that receives an F on their trimester report card will be deemed ineligible for their next extracurricular activity beginning on Monday, December 11th.  Parents and Coaches will be notified.  Please plan accordingly and utilize the rest of this week to bring your trimester grade to a passing level. 

-The Jr. High One-Act will be performing their show titled "Billy Shakespeare's Christmas Extravaganza and Traveling Freak Show" this Friday 12/8 at 6:00pm in the Auditorium. This show will feature 6-9 grade students. Contact Ms. Hesch for more details. 

 

-Students: The bathrooms and locker rooms are for your use, not the Vape Squad. Please report any vaping or similar activities to the Anonymous Tip Line at 320-968-8478. Include names, location, date, time and other valuable information. Students caught vaping at school will receive the strongest consequence allowed by school policy. When possible, students will receive a police citation, be required to pay a fine and appear in court. The days of vaping in FHS bathrooms and locker rooms are over.

 

-Scholarships offered by Community Giving are open and ready for you to apply! Multiple Scholarship opportunities are available, be sure to verify the eligibility requirements when applying!  Deadline is March 1st

These Scholarships will be included in FHS Local Scholarship Packet that will open for student in February. More information to come on this packet at a later date. 

 

-Students- please look in your backpacks and lockers and return any borrowed chargers or loaner Chromebooks to the media center.

 

-Teacher Assistant / Course Enrichment students- Completed contracts must be turned into the guidance office by end of day Friday, December 8th. See the guidance office with questions. 

 

-The After School Credit Recovery Program will take place on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:00-5:00pm in Room 335 (Foods Lab) starting December 12th. This program is for students who have failed a course or standard required for graduation. If you have failed a course and are interested in completing it in the After School Program, see Kristi in the Guidance Office.  There are a limited number of spots available and forms are due by December 19th so it is important to get the paperwork back ASAP. 

 

-The After School Homework Support Program will take place on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:00-5:00pm in Room 335 (Foods Lab) starting December 12th. This program is for students who need extra help and support on current homework. Students can pick up a parent permission form from Kristi in the Guidance Office and can enroll at any time.
