FHS Daily Announcements - Tuesday, March 5th 

-There will be a Unified Club meeting in the gym today.  We will be reviewing our progress on the Polar plunge and also getting ready for the basketball game against Milaca on March 13th.

-3/5: Last day of the After School Program for Trimester 2 is today. All credit recovery courses are due at 5:00pm today. We will not meet Thursday. Plan to meet with your teachers. 

-All wrestlers will have a season ending meeting and turn in gear Wednesday after school. Meet in the cafeteria. Any student interested in wrestling next year are invited to join the meeting

-College Wear Day is Tomorrow! Wear your favorite college gear!

 

-There will be a short 9-12 baseball meeting in Mr. Beier's room at 3:00 today.

 

-All current softball players or anyone interested in joining this season, please stop in Ms. Rasmussen's room for a brief meeting this Wednesday at 3:00. If you are unable to make it, please reach out to coach Rasmussen to set up a time to get the info.

 

-The student council will be meeting on Tuesday 3/5 in the foods room during Flex. 

 

-This week's question is, would you rather have waffles or pancakes for breakfast?

-11th Graders: All 11th graders will be taking the ACT test on Tuesday, March 12th (make up date Tuesday, March 19th). The test will start promptly at 8:05, students who are late will not be allowed to take the test that day. Cell Phones, smartwatches, backpacks, jackets, food, and drink will not be allowed in the room during the test. All students taking the ACT will have C lunch when the test is finished and will report to their regular 4th period. Please plan to bring an ACT approved calculator. Classroom rosters will be posted on Monday in the locker bay area. Any questions please reach out to Mr. Mellgren or the guidance office. 

-“Friendly reminder to our student drivers from Officer Cody: Every driver must make a complete stop at a stop sign or a clearly marked stop line before entering the intersection. NO ROLLING STOPS! This also includes stop signs posted at exits to parking lots. Slowing down for YIELD signs is also a requirement. Failure to do so may result in serious injury, property damage, and/or citations! Any questions or concerns, feel free to see me anytime. Thank you and drive safe!”
