FHS Daily Announcements - Wednesday, March 27th

 

-Seniors: To be part of the Senior Keepsake the questionnaire must be filled out and submitted by April 19th.  

-Seniors: Lots of Scholarship deadlines are approaching. Be sure you are checking Class of 2024 Google Classroom for scholarship opportunities!

-PSEO students new or continuing for the 2024/2025 school year must have completed forms turned into the Guidance office by the end of the week. See the guidance office with any questions

-There will not be a unified club meeting today during FLEX.

-POLAR PLUNGE UPDATE:  Awesome work! We have passed the $4000.00 mark and that means Mr.Inglis will be taking the plunge!!!!  Keep those donations coming....Mr.Carlson is on deck!  You can still sign up to take the plunge at "plungemn.org".  See Ms.Piepgras or Mr.Crowell if you have any questions.  We also have a jar in the main office for people who want to donate and not get wet:)

-Foley Falcons Archery Regular Season Ended this weekend with MN NASP State Championship.  This 2 day event was held in Rochester, MN. With over 1900 Archers across the state attending.  Foley kept shooting straight. Everyone brought their A game.   Top 10 individuals and #1 Team placings are automatically qualified to go to Nationals.  Western Nationals, in Sandy, UT at the end of April. Scholarships were also given out to High Schoolers who placed from 1st to 13th placings.

Gabby Orton and Ari Dix, both Seniors, had shot their last arrow at the MN NASP State Championship.  Gabby has been in the program for 9 years; she started in 4th grade. She is the longest an archer has been part of this team!  Ari started in 8th grade making this her 5th year.  Great season and archery career ladies.

All the divisions of Foley Falcons Teams have qualified to go to Nationals, according to their final team scores.  

“A friendly reminder to our student officers from Officer Cody: Any truck in Minnesota is required to have mud flaps covering the rear tires in order to prevent dirt, water, or other materials from being thrown up onto the windshield of other cars. Minnesota defines a truck as ‘any motor vehicle that is designed, used, or maintained primarily for the transportation of property’. An exception to the mud flap law states if the body of your truck already prevents dirt, water, or other materials from being thrown, then you do not need mud flaps.
