FHS Daily Announcements - Tuesday, April 2nd 

-Applications for FFA Officer Positions will be extended to this Friday, April 5th. See Ms. Keiser with questions. 

-Students, we need your help. A great deal of trash has been left in the locker bay area after flex in the last few weeks. Much of it is from 2nd chance breakfast. We are asking you to throw away your own garbage and help keep the area clean. If we continue to have garbage left in the locker bay area then 2nd chance breakfast will be restricted to the lunchroom area only.

-Juniors/Seniors: A representative from Minnesota North College will be in the Guidance Office Tomorrow, April 3rd during Flex. Stop by to have all your questions answered. 

-On Friday, April 5 a grade review will be conducted at 1:03 PM. If you have any grade that is a D- or lower you will be restricted for Flex beginning on Monday 4/8/24 and lasting for three weeks. If you are on the restricted list you are required to stay in your assigned flex period (unless allowed to leave at teacher request).

If you would prefer to have freedom of movement and choice during your flex time, we encourage you to make every effort possible to have all grades at least a D or higher by Friday, April 5.

Students who are on the restricted list will receive an email. If you believe an error was made when the new list is announced, please see Mr. McMorrow.

-The winner of the first round of the Tournament of Books is Makayla Reishus! Pick up your prize in the media center.  Come vote for your favorite books in round 2- there are more prizes!

-This Friday is the Polar Plunge, as a student body we will be outside for about 45 min. Please be sure to dress for the weather that day. The high will be about 50 degrees.

-The Foley Ambassador committee is now accepting applications for the 2024 Foley Ambassador Program. Applicants must be ages 16-20 by June 1st. If you are looking for a great opportunity to gain scholarship money, volunteer experience, leadership skills and confidence as well as new friends, then this program is for you! Information packets and applications are available in the Guidance Office and can be found online on the City of Foley website. Applications are due to City Hall by Friday, April 12th. Don’t miss out on this great opportunity to represent the city of Foley as a Foley Ambassador!

MN Statute states you must signal your intent to turn for a continuous 100ft prior to making the turn. Please ensure your turn signals are in working condition!
