5/7/25 FHS Daily Announcements Wednesday, May 7th -Lunch: There are no students allowed in academic halls and or the media center during their lunch shifts.
-Seniors: Don’t forget if you receive a scholarship or other form of recognition from a college, university, company, or civic group, please email that information along with your name to Kristi ( kbrenny@apps.isd51.org) by Friday, May 9th. This information will be published in the graduation program.
Seniors: We would like to know of any students who are committed to a branch of the military for the coming year so we can acknowledge their plans during the graduation ceremony. Please email Kristi Brenny at kbrenny@apps.isd51.org with your name and branch of Military you will be joining by Friday, May 9th. -The Deficiency List has been run. If you currently have a failing grade in any of your classes and are participating in Spring Activities, please watch for an email from Mr. Inglis and also stop by the HS Office to pick up an Academic Eligibility Form. You will not be eligible to participate in extracurricular competitions or activities effective Friday, May 9th unless you get your grade to passing and your form turned in. -On Friday, May 9th a grade review will be conducted. If you have any grade that is a D- or lower you will be restricted for Flex beginning on Monday, 05/12/25 and lasting for three weeks. If you are on the restricted list you are required to stay in your assigned flex period (unless allowed to leave at teacher request). If you would prefer to have freedom of movement and choice during your flex time, we encourage you to make every effort possible to have all grades at least a D or higher by Thursday, May 8th. Students who are on the restricted list will receive an email. If you believe an error was made when the new list is announced, please see Mrs. Gann. To be taken off the restricted list, please ensure that your teacher emails Mrs. Gann to request your removal.

FFA Members Banquet is on May 17th, meal at 4:00 pm and awards at 5:00 pm please fill out the following form so we can get a total number of people coming from your family to the chapter banquet for planning. -The FHS Summer School Credit Recovery Program will be available to students who have failed credits needed for graduation. Summer School will be Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 8:00am-12:00pm in June (see dates on form). Students will be expected to be self-directed learners using the Edgenuity program or coursework assigned by the instructor. To enroll, print or pick up a form in the FHS Guidance Office and return completed form to the FHS Guidance Office. See the Guidance Office or email if you have any questions.
