Foley Intermediate School, together with the community and the INDY Foundation, came together on Tuesday, May 28th for a day of honoring current and past cancer warriors and survivors. Leading up to the event, FIS students learned about the 5 mindsets and applying it to INDY warriors. They also held a Penny Wars fundraiser called, "Kids Making Change." Together, they raised over $7,300! Events of the day included students walking the track in honor of all warriors and survivors, bean bags, giant Jenga, putting together warrior packs for the Coborn's Cancer Center, and much more. It truly was heartwarming to see the students getting involved for such a noble cause.
