Cheryl Pick, Director of Child Nutrition for Foley Public Schools, and MSNA President Elect attended the Legislative Action Conference in Washington D.C. Cheryl and fellow colleagues from Minnesota met with legislators from MN on the importance of feeding kids. We are still seeing challenges with supply chain disruptions and meeting the needs of the school nutrition standards that are set before us for the National School Lunch Program and School Breakfast Program. Being able to visit with Congressman Tom Emmer was one of the stops on Capitol Hill. Ms. Pick was able to visit with Mr. Emmer about the Child Nutrition Program at Foley and the importance of Feeding Kids.
