#farmtoschool is going great at Foley Public Schools! The first week of school, students enjoyed sweet corn and broccoli from Stoney Brook Farms, cantaloupe, watermelon and strawberries from Svihel Farms, and tomatoes, onions, zucchini and cucumbers from Novak Farms. FFA planted a lot of sweet corn as well that they are currently harvesting. This week we also had fresh beef from our FFA student we purchased from last spring, and also fresh hot dogs from Grand Champion Meats. Keeping the dollars in the community and serving fresh items to our students is so important to us. Thank you FARMERS for making this happen! We really appreciate you.
