School Community, Local Community Members, Parents and Students
As part of our Healthy Hunger Free Kids Act of 2010, we are required to have a wellness policy for the Foley School District and to review the policy every 3 years. We would like to reach out an invitation for you to be a part of the committee. We would like individuals from the school community, local community, parents, and students to participate in this committee. The Wellness Policy focuses on the whole child and staff members including physical and mental wellness. The committee will meet 4 times per year and will take place at Foley Public Schools. Our first meeting will be held in early February 2024 and time is TBD.
