Congratulations to the following students in Mrs. Gross' College Writing class who won the Optimist Essay Contest sponsored by the Central Minnesota Noon Optimist Club! This year's topic was: Optimism: How it Connects Us.
- 1st Place: $500 - Holly Braun
- 2nd Place: $250 - Chase Dahler
- 3rd Place: $150 - It was a tie between Brianna Miller and Ryann Pitts
Holly will be entered into an area essay contest (the Dakotas, Manitoba, Minnesota District of Optimism International) where the first place prize is a $2,500 scholarship. Good luck Holly!
