School of Fish Open Water - Comm. Ed. Event - April 28th!
Come join us for a great Community Ed. Event - School of Fish Open Water!

School of Fish  is a 2 1/2 -hour kids fishing class open to kids (and adults!) from grades 3 and up taught by pro angler and television show host Mike Frisch. Students learn about lakes, finding fish in those lakes and some great ways to catch them.  They also learn to tie a fishing knot and rig and use a slip-bobber setup.  Also, a parent or another adult can attend (it is encouraged) for no additional cost, if the pair share the equipment package.   For the enrollment fee, kids get:
  • Shakespeare rod & reel
  • Tackle box with Northland Tackle
  • Cabela's $10 gift card
  • School of Fish 32-page full color workbook
  • KLN Snack pack
  • Fish ON Kids book
  • Most importantly, however, they leave class with the knowledge and skills to go fishing!
Also, one School of Fish graduate will be drawn to have the opportunity to be a guest on Fishing the Midwest TV!

This event will be held Thursday, April 28th, and is open to Grade 3 to Adult. You must register through Community Education. Cost is $60, but a parent or another adult may attend for no additional cost if the pair share the equipment package.
